This was at a Victory ball held in Atherstone, Warwickshire in 2004 where the spirit of the time was captured, with a great band and period dressing. My uniform consists of original jodpurs, shoes, tie, and Women's Land Army badges, the hat is a reproduction, the shirt is a virtual copy in airtex found in a charity shop and dyed the correct colour and the socks are modern hiking socks. The coat is an original 1940's coat in a beautiful dark green, although not one officially issued to Land Girls they would have worn their own coats to go to dances. Colin is dressed as a farm hand in his dungarees, collar less shirt, work boots and his jacket is an original Carhart. We had a great evening.
